Should I let the wooden handle protrude beyond the head of my tool?

As wood is a natural material it tends to dry when stored in a dry place. To prevent any risk of accident that may be caused by the tool head coming off the top of the handle, we advise you to let the handle protrude by 20 to 25mm beyond the head of your tool. Choose Leborgne handles when you want to replace the wooden handle of your tool. In fact Leborgne tools have a hygrometric level of 16%. This ensures perfect fitting of the handle to the head when assembling the tool.
